Search Bar Settings

Styling Options Settings

Making Advanced Shortcodes
After adding your event, Modern Event Calendar enables you to make a calendar from all of the events with adorable skins, nice and tidy styles. Also, it has a powerful filtering tool to create a new calendar.

Taxes / Fees Settings
To use this option, go to MEC Settings > Booking > Taxes/Fee . You should enable this module and add a fee to it. The fees will be fixed if enabled in the single event.
Booking Settings
By enabling booking module service, Modern Event Calendar will be able to handle ticket services. Using the registration form you can easily build up your own form to get the information you need before processing payments.
Frontend Event Submission Sections
You can adjust what is shown on the end-user event submission form. Except for the event basic information and requirements, you can choose from Event Links, Event Cost, Featured Image, Event Categories, Event Labels, Event Color, Event Tags, Event Location, Event Organizer, Hourly Schedule, Booking Options, and Fees/Taxes Options as well.
Frontend Event Submission Settings
Front-End Event Submission offers the users several options to register their events in the current page, without having to enter a dashboard.
Next Event Module Settings
When Event Repeat option is enabled for an event, and you want your users to see when exactly is the next time for this particular event. You can simply provide your users with this by enabling Next Event Module.
Social Networks Module Settings
You can easily enable the social platforms’ icons from MEC > Settings > Modules > Social. You can choose any icon to be displayed on your single event page. Using these icon your users can share your events anywhere they want.

Location / Additional Locations
Location section is very simple and easy to use. Here we will explain how to add a location and use it multiple times for different events.
Labels
Label is like a badge and is set to your event when you want to inform your participants of any news on the event (e.g. event is canceled). Also, you can add a description to your label edit page and it will be displayed in the MEC single sidebar.
Tags
Tags are basically keywords for each page/article you create. Tags are intended to be words or very short two or three-word phrases.
Total Booking and User Limits
This option enables you to set a total limit for your tickets. Let’s make it clearer by an example. You can set an event and then set two types of tickets for it, a VIP and a Regular ticket.
Manual Update
You can manually download MEC from Webnus panel or WordPress plugins repository, then go to FTP and to the folder wp-content/plugins. Then upload the zip file there, and extract it in the same place to replac the previous files. And the update is done.
